MY DAILY VOCAL EXERCISES! Many of you know I committed to learn how to sing in 2020. Last year I learned how to box. This year I'm working on my voice. I took a 30-day jump-start course by Stevie Mackey (J-Lo's vocal coach) in January, which included this daily warmup that takes 20 minutes. I've been doing it at least 5-6 times per week all year. I have a really long way to go but I've improved a lot since the beginning of the year. I love music and I've always loved to sing. It relaxes me and brings me great joy. I have no idea where this will go but for now I'm having fun using my voice to make my content more energetic, sticky and fun. Learning something new not only keeps your brain buzzing but it also truly makes you appreciate what you're actually good it. LOL. This vocal practice has also helped my speaking and breathing abilities for all of my other content, especially the LIVE follow-along workouts I do every week.
