It’s taken me ages to get something outta that CNC machine and oddly enough, little miss technophobe here managed to get the laser side of it working, but not the milling one that used the router bits?! Sooo frustrating with having to understand software! 🤣 I’m absolutely shattered now! I might need an early night just to recover from it! 😅 Here’s an unrelated pic I snapped when I realised that already my telescope has began serving it’s inevitable secondary purpose! 🙈

I bought a small CNC machine with little milling engravers and a laser to engrave onto wood and stuff- however, I’m very much a manual tool person rather than a clever electronics tool person! The software looks awful to use?! Has anyone ever used a CNC machine before?! My mind is blowwwwwn! 🤯 (think of just before the mad violin bit in Ballad of Dwight Fry by Alice Cooper and the explosion you hear is my brain!)

I tried to take a photo of the moon through the big new telescope but as you might expect, it shows almost no detail compared to how it looks through this scope… oh my god, I can see the moon so clearly from my living room window; craters and all 😭 I’m so emotional! I seriously might cry!

Walking arse-first into a massive hidden cobweb 😭 Parts 1 & 2 😭 Right, a few days ago, I was on a bike ride (Monday, actually!) I was on a huge 4 hour bike ride but there were some unexpected diversions so almost half of that was spent cycling over the world’s most bumpiest gravelly roads and my arse has never felt so utterly battered and bruised! I’ve made a rudey dudey video since, and I have come to realise, I may have climaxes too hard for my knackered joints because today I just can’t walk. How worryingly pathetic is that for a wee girl my age 😂 - so here’s a pic of me, barely standing and legitimately using that fence to keep myself propped up!

Saying goodbye to my cute bow thong! I’ve been messing on with my new little dowel kit (has anyone ever used a dowel jig? Mine is just the tap and hammer version as the jigs look complicated as heck!) and have made a really awful table out of some test wood, like 2” thick and spanned the length of the workshop- I’m glad to finally cut it up but I think at some point it had once started to rot 🤢 thank god (or should I say Matt!!) for that ace sharp planer! I’ll upload a photo if I’m no or too embarrassed about it when it’s done 😂
