Okay so photoshoots tire your girl out 😂 I fell asleep at 7pm last night and didn’t wake up until 5:30am! Actually, part of this is me having to recondition my brain and body. I’ve operated on high anxiety since I was a kid (it runs in my family). I didn’t know a life without constant, irrational, yet incomprehensible, fear and panic and of feeling in danger. When I tell you I was in a constant state of hyper awareness and fear for my life ever since I can remember, I truly mean it. And I always held guilt over why I felt that way—not being able to explain the feelings, and honestly? My childhood was amazing so the heaviness I carried all this time became like concrete. 32 years later and I’m training myself to be calm. That photoshoots are good. They don’t require fear and worry the week, three days, or two days before. Life is good. All is well. You are safe. You will be okay. I ask for you to be kind to yourself today. If you are experiencing fear or worry or panic, take a moment to breathe. Focus on the moment you are present in. Name things you can touch, smell, or hear. Breathe. 🖤

I was able to catch up with most of you today and it was really nice to see how you all have been doing! I am feeling better and had a really nice Thanksgiving, too. Honestly, so many of the notes you all sent me (and all of the dog and pet photos) really, really helped cheer me up. I appreciate you so much! I’m due for my group meditation tonight so I’m off to realign myself with the universe 💫 but expect more content this week my friends! I have some new things coming ☺️

Hi 😊 excuse my silence yesterday. This week is always a little hard for me. I know other dog parents can understand. Rusty would’ve been ~about~ 20 yesterday. I got her when I was 13, and that dog helped me through some of the most difficult times of my life. Her adopt-a-versary is also this week. It’s been 5 years since she passed and I still miss her so much every day. But this is the first year it hurts just a little bit less. Rue and Ravi have helped me find the sun again. This picture is a few years old now, taken on my first shoot when I rebooted my modeling career. I love it. Reflecting on it now I don't look like this anymore...and it's weird to think about. I've changed a little bit physically, but mentally...wow. What a difference. Life's pretty cool when you keep going. I'm working my way through messages tonight. About to take a break to feed the pups and myself. The tattoo is in the itchy stage so I'll be on for as long as I can stand it lol ;)

Ahhh hi everyone! I cannot express how absolutely happy I feel. It’s a consistent thing now and I am...amazed at life. Most of y’all don’t know that I got divorced at the beginning of 2019. I had to shut down my dog business, sell my house, and move back in with my parents. I tried to move to LA in August, but by December I couldn’t even get myself to leave my house. I was too overwhelmed, I wasn’t ready, I didn’t know who I was anymore. I drove Rue and myself back to the Midwest the first week of January feeling absolutely broken and destroyed. Moving back in with mom and dad at 31...again. Oof. 2020 has been a painful year of growth for everyone. But all I can say is that little by little, the more I finally began to embrace my WHOLE self, the more the sun began to shine. I haven’t ever felt like I’ve been in such a good place mentally, creatively, or personally. And I know I keep thanking you all, and people don’t understand it, but I will forever be grateful to each and every one of you. Thank you for enjoying my content. Thank you for inspiring me to continue to create. Thank you. This is incredible ✨
