This practice kicked my ass a little in a way that I really, really needed. It’s a 30 minute Elena Brower flow on yogaglo.com. I looooooove Elena Brower and I love her thirty minute flows but today I took a level 2-3 yoga class instead of my typical level 1 and/or 2. Huzzah!! I needed an ass beating. I’m a brat like that. I started with my clothes but had to take my shirt off by the end bc it was just getting in the way. We practiced Eka pada koundinyasana (Sage Kaundinya’s posture)- I don’t typically practice this one so it was fun to get some hang time in and I can’t wait to keep working on it!! What I love about yoga is that it is not about a final destination- the longer you practice, everything becomes interesting. Standing becomes interesting. Walking becomes interesting. The limit does not exist- you can go on learning forever. It lights me up inside and I can’t tell you how grateful I am to feel my light shine.

I have been practicing with her for damn near a decade at this point and as her practice has evolved, so has my own. I've watched her go through real shit in her personal life and saw her demonstrate resilience through it. That to me is what's so powerful about practicing yoga online- you get to develop a relationship with a teacher that stands the test of time and offers a point of reflection for life.

Me and my partner play together all the time." It's interesting to me how, even with the large number of people who practice rope and use it as a healing art, it's still not really talked about that much. But if you get on FetLife it's clear that everyone and their mother is kinky as fuck and loves to tie. It's time for us to bridge the gap.
