Clothes shopping is therapeutic for me. It feels cleansing. I remember a lot of details about situations- smells, sounds and what I was wearing. I try not to do it in a way that is problematic, because spending money to cope isn’t good. I cycle through donating and thrifting. I rarely ever buy clothes new, I’m so wild outside I wreck things pretty quick anyway. But I love thrifting like a hobby. Today I picked up a few cute dresses, which i still need to try on. I never try anything on at the thrift store but before I buy it. I grab what I think fits and if it doesn’t work out I’ll just donate it back. Yesterday I had a rough night, and so today there was some shopping bandaids. These are my ‘new to me’ mom jeans lol

I had a really good day and the weather was warm enough I was able to get away wearing something cute rather than parka-ish. I did NOT go get the lab work done. Tomorrow is a blizzard so I guess it’ll be next week!

Good morning! Hope the weekend is looking good. When I posted yesterday morning I had totally forgot that I actually did NoT have a free afternoon, and I was committed to being on an overnight Hallmark Christmas movie set. I was reminded in the morning when I got the email with the call time/location and details about the scenes. This is what it said for my role : “Santa-like person” lol so I wasn’t really sure what was going to be happening. I tend not to read or look into anything about the movie when I go onto to a set, it’s a fun surprise to see what it’s about or who is in it. Anyway, it was probably one of my more interesting nights on a shoot. I can’t say that I was much more than cold and miserable by the end of it, but I did have a remarkable encounter with an old friend and I have to say it was all probably fate, even though I don’t believe in that stuff.
