another day, another set with @kiwiizita <3 today's the last day before i go to california and i still have a list of 873489274032 things i have to do. thankfully i recorded my podcast and got some editing done today! i'm definitely running out of time, but i'm trying to just check things off the list as they come to mind versus become an anxious mess thinking about them all at once :'))))) posing boudoir with a partner is probably one of the harder things i've done in my short modeling career. how do you keep it tasteful, playful, interactive, unique, and creative... all at once? finding a model who is easy to work with and makes you feel comfy is the first fuckin' rule. whack pussy energy will mess up the shoot more than a shitty pose. keep that shit tf away from you. think about the story you're trying to tell. start with something human -- drinking coffee together, helping her undress, kissing her against a wall. move through the story as you're shooting versus trying to think of sedentary poses (those are good too, but harder to make not look tacky!). i don't really shoot boudoir anymore, but these were really fun! i had so much fun with indra and nijah that day. it made me feel so beautiful for the first time in a while, so i was really thankful for the opportunity. like this post if you want to keep seeing exclusive photos from this set! xx bee

hi friends! happy friday! i'm headed to california to try my best to collaborate and make the best art i've ever made in three days. my best friend and i are flying there on sunday, and i'm equal parts nervous and excited!!! these photos were taken by @blke.wrght a few weeks back -- he came into town and the concept we had originally planned to do got tabled... so i pulled out a gallon of elmers glue and asked him to pour it on my entire body. the outcome was a handful of almost-gross looking photos of my body in the weirdest angles i could make of it (very on brand for me). typically, when i shoot i like to have a prop that i can work off of. even if it's just one small item, it's really helpful to direct your body around an object, and takes the focus off of you. working with layered glue on my body was a first, and it took away that prop safety. the only thing i could do? make the most organic shapes i could with the natural shape of my body. posing should always feel a little weird. the camera can't sense when you're uncomfortable, and generally pushing yourself just a little bit outside of what feels normal can be the difference between a really good and an 'okay' shot. let me know what you think of these! and feel free to leave me a lil tip or shmoney surprise for my california trip, if you feel so inclined <3 updating my wishlist here too because my headphones broke and now i have none for the plane :((( ya girl is a struggling artist for real for real right now. cheers! xx bee

hi friends :-) my 'cowboy summer' photo set is here :-) shot with one reference photo in mind, i wanted to recreate the popular beach photoshoot and add some organic body shapes and tacky poses. i thrifted the cooler, boots, and vintage beach chair from a goodwill. the hat was party city. the bikini was shein. the vibes were immaculate. the key to selling the concept was to kill any stiffness in my body. i really relaxed into all of my poses and i didn't shy away from the natural curve of my skin. with golden hour hitting us at the perfect time, and a crowd of people watching from afar, the energy became exactly what i needed it to be. i tried to combine tacky summer with what i felt would almost be a marlboro commercial from the seventies, and i think it came out great! let me know your thoughts. i've been shooting like crazy so i have so, so much content to drop here for you :') thanks for supporting me, friends. i really appreciate it. much love, bee

Going to burn this onto a blank disc for my grandchildren to find in fifty years :') I wanted to create something that wasn't so posed or perfect. Thank you to the love of my life for helping me film this, and thank you to endless cups of coffee that helped turn it into what it was. The initial idea for this piece was to create a scene where a girl undresses and crawls herself into bed for a few hours of under-the-covers self-sex. Though we filmed that entire bit, I was falling in love with the parts that were unscripted and raw in post-production. Because my head was so stuck on how much I loved those (and DIDN'T love the acting-y parts), I scrapped the entire project and started over after already having four hours of editing under my belt. The next phase was piecing it together in a way that still told the story. It needed to convey exactly how I felt, minus the acting parts. The parts of footage that I traditionally ignore (too unfiltered, sporadic, laughing, etc) were the ONLY pieces I was suddenly paying attention to. The end result? love.
