After smoking weed for a little over a decade, I decided to quit. It’s been about a month (however I won’t lie, I’ve taken a couple puffs here and there..) and I’ve seen a big difference in my energy, mental focus, and most noticeably - having an appetite! When I smoke now.. I become profusely paranoid soo~ I really have little interest in doing it any more. I used to feel like I needed to smoke to create. I felt like I needed it to keep level headed.. but I think it was doing the opposite. I feel a lot more zippy, happy, and witty. These are all things I didn’t expect. I am dreaming vividly again. Which is good/bad. Dreams of when I lived in Salem, MA - things I had forgotten are all now coming to the surface. Dreams of memories of my pregnancy that have slipped through my mind. Dreams of sexual fantasies that feel so, so real while in the subconscious realm. It’s actually pretty astounding and I hope to continue sharing my experiences.

A photo dump. Has anyone seen The Whale in theaters? I am so happy about Brendan Fraser’s return — I thought the film was heartfelt.. and heart wrenching. Everyone walked out of the theater sniffling. Never before have I heard a whole auditorium cry. As much as this is a sad film and most would not want to watch it again because of how sad it is (from the people I’ve spoken to who have seen it) I would love to go back and analyze it a bit more. There were so many subtleties and unspoken feelings.
