Amy came in for a filling appointment dressed like she was going out on the town. If she has somewhere to be after todays chair time she will be going with a very numb mouth.

Amy lies in the semi reclined chair with her mouth wide open. She can see an assortment of tools laid out on the tray next to her. The dentist is snapping on some gloves at the other side of the room. She knows she’s going to be in the chair for a while today. And it’s not going to be pleasant.

We’re sitting eating dinner at home and Amy complains of a tooth ache on her upper right molar. We finish eating and before she knows it I have my dental tools out. I make a makeshift examination bed and she has the molt gag in as wide as it goes. I’m sure she tells fibs sometimes just to get examined 😒😒

She had been complaining for a few weeks that her bite seemed a little high and the fillings need some adjustment. We had a cancellation on a Friday afternoon so I caught her off guard and got her in the chair to fix them.
