I finally made it to the Airbnb and it was a fucking TERRIBLE journey. The transmission started acting up halfway through so we had to drive 60mph for the second half AND THEN we got pulled over “following too closely” which was total bullshit and then they searched our ENTIRE car for drugs because we seemed nervous? YEAH BECAUSE ACAB???? ughhhhhh I’m in a really bad mood but hopefully this weekend will go up from here 😭

So… I booked a 2k Airbnb for a music festival this month but all my friends bailed and I can’t cancel the Airbnb because it’s too short notice so I guess I’m just going on a really expensive trip by myself 🙃 I can try to shoot a lot of content and maybe make it somewhat worthwhile…? My new fancy job doesn’t pay me enough for this lol. Luckily I didn’t buy the $450 festival ticket yet though cause going alone to that won’t be fun at all. Why are festivals so damn expensive!! Hey… wanna hop on a call? 😏 Wow this first week of work was a lotttttt, and it did not help that I’ve been sick the whole time 🙃🙃 I’m very thankful 4/5 days were remote for orientation sessions but it still took so much energy to pay attention for 8 hours because I haven’t had to do that in so long!!! Today was the first chill day I had because I’m starting the self learning portion so I definitely took a long ass midday nap lol 😎😂 But the company seems really great, the office is cute, and the coworkers I’ve met so far are nice so I’m really happy!! Just hoping I can finally kick this cold in the next day or so because I have plans to go to the renaissance festival on Sunday! (And I don’t want to be miserable all next week too lol)
