So I struggle with wearing super femme things (eg. Pink, frills, lace, flouncy dresses). I was brainwashed as a kid that being a girl meant I was weak. It meant I ran like girl, I throw like a girl, I scream like a girl. I couldnt fight in a dress, if I wore pink I was 'dainty' and shouldn't get dirty. But I kept up with the boys just as well as any boy. It made me reject feminity entirely when I was young. I hated that sentiment, I was the kid in the corner ripping heads off of Barbies and making weird creatures from them.
