The shelter near Zaporizhzhia, where I’ve been helping Ukrainian kids who lost their families and homes, was hit in a russian airstrike. Thankfully, all the kids survived — but now they have to move somewhere.
I’ve spent years supporting them with food, clothes, and care. And now I’m left wondering — what’s the point of building safety if it can be destroyed in a moment? 💔
Still, I’ll keep going. We must.
But please, don’t forget Ukraine — and the kids who are just trying to survive in this cruel reality.
No one should sleep in a basement hiding from bombs.
