He is 22 years old, lives in Gualeguaychú and is in the fifth year in law university. At the same time, he is a “sexual content creator” and is among the 1.1% of the people who earn the most money in the world on the only platform that allows you to upload explicit sexual content. “I came to break the norm,” he says.

It is Holy Thursday, before easters, and there is no soul in Buenos Aires City. Marco goes down to open the door, smiles in the distance and greets with a hug. He is 22 years old and has just arrived from Gualeguaychú, where he was born and where he is about to finish his law study. He is the son of lawyers and is also the brother of a priest of the Catholic Church. He has a black jean, a white t-shirt and speaks in a warm way and, at first glance, it could be just that: one more piece of a traditional family puzzle.

The biceps that appears under the white t-shirt, however, give the first clues to take the detail. No, this is not the classic story of the boy who kills himself in the gym to do a rite of worship around his body: the thickness of his fingers and the squaring of his back are due to the fact that, before being what he is today, Marco was three times Pan American Martial Arts champion, with the Argentine National Team.

“What it is today” is precisely the center of this story: the story of a guy who left the law firm in which he was stepping on family footprints and became the creator of his own virtual sexual content. For just over a year he has been producing and starring in his porn videos and is loved in Only Fans, the only social network that allows you to upload explicit sexual content and generate profits in dollars.

Why loved? “Because I do porn with girls, with boys and with girls and boys at the same time. In other words, I do bisexual porn, the eternal forgotten,” he tells to Infobae the same time he caresses his cat, which was waved in his pubis. Then he begins to tell details about his life: how did he start? How did he tells his family? What about his daughter? How much can earn in a bad month? And in a good one? What if he regrets it?

The way of the champion

At the age of 7, when most boys and girls are in second grade, Marco started “the way of the champion.” He was a crack in Taekwondo ITF, so he began to compete and at 12, and he became Argentine champion for the first time, a direct ticket to the Argentine National Team.

His idea was never to do “one thing or the other” but rather the “double life,” Marco began studying Law at the University of Concepción del Uruguay, in Entre Ríos, while he was a high-performance athlete. Last year, however, “the champion’s way” was interrupted: a triple rupture of the ligaments of the right knee left him off the tracks.

The injury did not take him in bewilderment, because at the age of 17 Marco had opened a third door: modeling. Did he want to be a model, then? No. But posing ended up being the guide that led him to the first total nude and, later, to porn.

“I didn’t really see myself being a model. Beyond the fact that things changed a lot, I was a very shy kid,” says he, who knows that it is difficult to imagine him shy, especially if you have already put his war name on social networks (Marco Maxxx) and watched any of his videos.

It was a friend who suggested him to make a portfolio, the famous “book”, and it was she who sent it to a fashion agency. The following week he was called to do an advertisement without T-shirt and only in jeans, and then a classic summer one, in a poll and with underwear. The point is that the photos exploded from likes on Instagram and Gualeguaychú was revolutionized:

“There I began to know the power that my image had,” he says, and marks a cross on the map of what was to come.

What followed in the chronology was a proposal to make a total nude: a session of artistic photos that were going to be exhibited in a famous Buenos Aires gallery. Marco accepted, but since he was supposed to one day be a lawyer (and in a city of less than 100,000 inhabitants), the photographer offered him to cover his face, remove his name, make his body unrecognizable.

“And I answered him, ‘No, forget it, this is me.’ Please, put my photo, my face, my name, and if you want, put my phone number on.”

During the weekend that followed the show, he received a second wave of job offers: “40, 50 proposals to advertise,” he lists. But when I thought I was surfing comfortably on the crest of the wave, boom: pandemic, and the world mutated to virtual. Therapy, gymnastics, meetings, birthdays went from live to zoom.

The cards were on the table, the advantage was evident: when sex also mutated to virtual, Marco already had more than 1,000 porn photos taken.

Another friend who knew Only Fans - where the vast majority are women, the so-called “virtual sex workers” - told him the magic words: “Marco, why don’t you make a Only about yourself? You upload your photos and let it work alone, people will love it.”

Marco didn’t know anything about it, but he still did. “The pandemic began on March 20, on March 29 I had uploaded 100 photos. I set the minimum subscription: five dollars,” he continues. “It wasn’t very strategic, I should have uploaded them little by little, but I didn’t know how to use the platform,” analyzes him, who now, just a year and month later, leads a team made up of seven other people who works for him.

“I forgot that I had uploaded them and a month later my friend asks me: ‘Ey, and how did you go with Only?’ When I entered I had a lot of fans, a lot of money had been generated like that, still.” It was 2021, Marco was in the fourth year of law, and he had $80,000 ARS to collect.

“For me it was categorical. What I had generated in that month simply having uploaded the photos without a lot of work, without advertising, without strategy and without knowing what it was, was more than what I was earning per month working every day from 7 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon in the law firm, and after that teaching martial arts at the same time.”

Those 80,000 of a year ago are, in their numbers today, coins, because at the moment Marco is within 1.1% of those who earn best in Only Fans worldwide.

Dad, Mom, I have to tell you something:

The floor already existed: there were subscribers who paid, month by month, 5 dollars to see the videos and photos that he was uploading. Those subscribers today are about 1,700, which means that they receive about 8,500 fixed dollars per month. The subscription is cheap compared to other profiles, and there is a logic there, in the old trick of the “Free Ladies”: once inside, they want more.

“On that floor you have to increase by 50, 100, 200% of what you generate within the platform with photos, personalized videos or a live one,” he explains. Marco - who is bisexual and likes to explore so much in the confines of sexualities that he swears that he would even do it for free - started making these videos on demand.

For example, someone commissioned him a video in which he had sex with a man and a girl at the same time but that both supporting actors were bottom. Or someone with a fetish with scissors asked him, naked, to say to the camera: “I’m going to cut all my hair.” for 500usd.

He knows that it was not very difficult for any of those videos to leave the networks, jump from phone to phone and reach those of his family, Marco decided to anticipate and talk to his family members.

“For me, one of the fundamental values is to be able to be sincere. In addition, I believe that sexuality should already be taken in a more natural way. So what I said is ‘what I will do with this?’ Because it is shocking, especially for those who loves me. And I said ‘what I have to do is say it’. Then I grabbed and sat my brother on a chair...my brother is a priest of the Catholic Church,” he says, and laughs a lot.

“I told him ‘Look Freddy, I’m going to start doing porn.’ And he replied, ‘It’s the only thing you don't did before,’” almost no surprised. Marco smiles lovingly when he talks about him: “It’s beautiful,” he says later. “We have indeasurable differences that define us and often oppose us, but I deeply respect his faith, his beliefs and his way of living life, and he also mine,” he explains.
