Added 2023-05-11 16:36:07 +0000 UTCI am so thankful to have made it to Anchorage, Alaska! It was the longest journey here! It was challenging & beautiful at the same time. Chilly nights in the van & long days full of mostly driving ( And trying not to drive each other crazy š¤Ŗ) But finally we are here in our new home. In our own room & I can snuggle up on a real bed! Between both of our backs getting super compressed & our bodies stiff from all the sittingā¦To say the journey here was challenging is almost an understatement. š It was mentally and physically exhausting. Almost 4,000 miles later we are here! We had our first few gym sessions & it definitely is starting to help bring our mobility back to normal. Def feeling so sore today š I had a bit of a rough morning yesterday. I woke up frustrated when I tried to decided what I should wearā¦ most of my clothes are geared towards Las Vegasās sunny warm skies! I felt like such a winer as I found myself crying because Iām not used to the new temperatures for this time of year. I didnāt want any part of me exposed to the chilliness. I know rightā¦itās not that cold! š„¶ š But during this adjustment period I though maybe if you felt it on your heart to take a peak at my wish list Iāll be adding things as I figure out what will help me adjust to Alaska as my new home.
