I think the reason we take those to heart in spite of having comments that point out the good things, is because it verifies something we’ve already noticed and criticized about ourself. It provides evidence that what we already judged ourselves for is true and we were right. And people love to be right. So I do let those types of things get to me, only for enough time it takes to delete the pic and pretend I never posted it at all lol. Once it’s safely out of the hands of the public internet I feel better knowing I saved all those poor people from having to see my whack eye brows 😂 then I dwell for several days. THEN I let it go and move on
