The snow is really coming down now and I think school will be cancelled for tomorrow, probably also Friday. Since I’m not raising chickens this winter, and I haven’t processed any of my own for years, I have to buy eggs and meat now. My friends bought a box of 12 frozen hens from the Hutterite colony for $100 and we decided to split it. They’re huge! So I’ll take out a chicken to thaw tonight, roast it tomorrow night with potatoes and carrots, then make soup overnight with fresh baked bread for Friday and Saturday. Sounds like a plan and typing it all out like this really helped me lol
