I had to drop hubbies car off to the garage for some work to be done, the guy I was told to ask for was on his lunch but a cute guy took the keys from me. I had to walk back home which isn’t a massive walk but it’s been raining most of the day. Just before I stepped off the forecourt the guy who took my keys walked out the door and asked me if I was walking home. He insisted he can drop me back as it wasn’t too far. I was really thankful and said that would save me a walk! It’s only like a 3/4 minute drive back home and I sat in the passenger seat. We spoke about the car and what it was in for, I told him it was my husband’s and that I have no clue he just asked me to drop it down at lunch time. Other than that we spoke about how crap the weather has been and not much else. There was more of those awkward silence moments, but I’m in full wife mode, i was in my comfy clothes the lot 🤣 when I said just here he pulled up. I said thank you so much and he just came out with ‘could I get your number’ I literally felt my face turn red I was so caught off guard 🙈 i said YES though and gave him my number! He’s definitely a lot younger than me but he is very cute! I quite like the rugged guy look as it happens.
This was about 20 minutes ago and so far I’ve not had any messages, I keep thinking what if I said my number wrong or he typed it in wrong! I should have asked him to give me his instead 😖 I feel so nervous haha why!? All the things I’ve done before and THIS has made me nervous as anything 🙈
