Added 2022-03-23 16:00:52 +0000 UTCI’ve talked a bit about sodium hydroxide, but what is potassium hydroxide (KOH)? Well, similarly to sodium hydroxide it is an inorganic compound, lye! However potassium hydroxide is used specifically in making liquid soaps.🧴 KOH is caustic🔥 so always be sure to wear your safety gear when messing around with this stuff! I am new to using potassium hydroxide, as I have been focusing primarily on creating cold process soap‘s so far. But I can’t wait to share more future recipes with you all where I incorporate this.😌
