I stopped a few feet from him and he walked right up to me. He was trying to catch his breath and figure out his next move. I couldn’t stop smiling and instantly he calmed down and got his cool back.
“Hi… I didn’t know I’d run into you so quickly. When I saw you this morning, I was curious about when you started working there” I said
“Actually today is my first day”
“Oh, it is. Then we’ll probably see each other often. I’m Skyler and welcome to Carmel.
“I’m Jonathan but my friends call me Johnny”
