We were supposed to leave the day after the tropical storm/flood warnings ended, but our dog started acting sick and stopped eating food. We didn’t know what was wrong with her, and it didn’t feel right to leave her with our dog sitter when we didn’t know wtf was going on. Turns out, she has an infection from drinking floodwater during the storm when we took her outside. 🙃 She’s going to be okay, but it’s still a struggle to get her to eat her meals. If it’s any consolation, my period started the first day we were supposed to hang out with Diana and Damien… a whole week early 💀So that would’ve been a problem anyways lol. With all of that, we don’t have exact dates for when we’re rescheduling, but we’re eyeballing early next year (possibly January??) 😄 We’re really sorry if this is disappointing - trust us, we’re all bummed! This storm just came at a really unfortunate time, our dog was just stupid enough to drink floodwater, and my body decided to be a body… sometimes, the universe just says no lol HUGE thank you to both Diana and Damien for being so understanding of this. We knew they would be, they’re 10/10 kind of people, but we *really* appreciate their kindness and willingness to change dates with us! Rest assured, we’ll keep y’all posted. 🥰
