1:12min A Short Story
I kneeled on a soft chair, my bare feet extended deliberately into the glow, commanding attention.
You knelt before me, trembling, his gaze fixed on my feet as if bound by a spell.
βDo you like what you see?β My voice was a soft, cutting whisper.
βYes,β he breathed, barely audible.
βLouder,β I demanded, my smile sharp.
His stammered reply pleased me, but I only extended my foot to brush their chin briefly before pulling back. βEarn it,β I said, reclining further. βIf you amuse me, I might let you closer.β
His desperation lit the air, and I savored it. This was my game, and I was in control.
