hey everyone, thanks for your patience with me this week. between meds issues and getting a stomach virus in the last half of the week, it's been rough.
my number one goal in the next month and a half is getting ready financially and materially ready to drive back to LA. i have you guys to thank for subscribing and helping me get closer to actualizing that.
one of my first jobs in LA when i first joined the film industry was being a set PA. a lot of that job entailed telling crew members to quiet down while we rolled on takes. i found it easier to make silly signs rather than using my voice, because things can get awkward fast when you're telling a 55 year old grip to be quiet. each day, i'd take the empty sides envelopes (sides are printed script pages needed on the day you're shooting, set PAs often pass them out to various departments at the top of the day) and make a quick sign.
here are a few of the many signs i made from my time as a set PA. hope you enjoy.
