BAHH feeling ultra uninspired today, thankfully its sunday so theres that.. i guess im just getting discouraged by all the social media bullshit, how i can't have a regular twitter account that isn't search banned or a regular instagram account that i won't loose randomly despite following rules, or a tiktok. I always feel like its just a matter of time and loosing two of my socials in such a short amount of time is really killing me mentally. I have spend so much time making content for these sites and and my reward is being banned because of my chosen line of work even if i NEVER mention it on their site! Additionally my chosen line of work, being an AMATEUR means i literally NEED social media to get any traffic or be seen by ANYONE. I don't have a team of managers doing my research and making behind closed door deals with social media sites to allow me to get by with less repurcussions and worry. And I KNOW that even THEN these companies and models are NOT safe, Pornhub recently getting their insta banned permanently despite posting SFW content and being A HUGE CORPORATION is proof enough. Despite the younger generations coming to accept SW as a real thing and seeing that we deserve fukin rights, the power is still mostly in the hands of white men who are either moraly and ethicaly traditional and bigoted, or know their platforms will make more $$$ if they make them unfriendly for SWers as it makes them more friendly for youth who are an insane money maker that advertisers arent allowed to directly advertise to. Which is like even more immoral if you ask me xD Theres no solution really except to decriminalize SW overall imo. We won't get rights collectively otherwise and those of us doing SW legally only get the pass that what they are doing is legal. We are still not treated as though our work is legal or allowed or valid or something thats hould have rights and protections. We are treated the same way as every SWer. ugh. Sorry i don't like to whine that often about my career but after 10 years in this industry im getting SO tired of having to restart social media accounts and rebuild a presence and traffic while in the meantime feeling that squeeze from the void of traffic in between. Instagram and other social sites should be legaly liable for messing up my business but they aren't. xx
