So after fall break, the students returned to a fourth rule, BE NICE. Showing and practicing how to be nice was part of our everyday time together. Practicing how to use words to express thoughts rather than hitting and kicking, and showing the natural consequences of lying, stealing, and cheating was a regular part life, in and out of the classroom. For myself, I can now recognize when I am criticizing, judging, insulting, hurting myself, and I can be nicer to myself. BE NICE, not perfect, towards others and yourself. 😁🙏🏾🙏🏾😁
