As a woman born in the South, an in-person sex worker, and an American student of law: today’s ruling is devastating. I implore you to donate directly to a nonprofit organization like ARC-Southeast, that provides funds AND travel logistics to pregnant people in the South who need safe access to abortion. But in the event that you’re not ready to make a direct donation, I’d like to announce that 100% of my Onlyfans tips for this post + the month of July will be donated to the same organization. I have already started off with a $100 donation today (see screenshots, please swipe!) and will also screenshot confirmation of my July tip total + my donation and post that at the end of the month. My page (and my work) has always been political. Reproductive rights are inextricably entwined with sex workers’ rights, and I will fight for them in every way that I can. (P.S. there is a significance to the North Carolina candle; not only will the Tarheel state forever be my abstract “home” but North Carolina is also poised to become a major hub for abortion access in the South for at least the coming year - because in many other southern states with trigger laws, NC is the closest state with legal access to abortion that residents can travel to.
