I do this because I donโt necessarily want to keep my content behind a huge paywall plus I enjoy engaging with the community as it is. However, over the last few months, Iโve had people take my content from here and repost it, without even tagging me. Iโve had scammers use my content and nearly get away with it. Because of these things I feel frustrated and disrespected, and I have decided to raise my prices. I make so much of my content free and accesible on all platforms, so I do think itโs unreasonable that my content would be taken from here and shared elsewhere without my consent. I canโt protect myself and my content when the people I share it with donโt help me do the same. I canโt keep low prices for everyone wheb individuals steal my content from here. The fact that I make content isnโt a secret, however itโs still mine to share, not yours. I havenโt raised my OnlyHams prices and I have never planned to. But itโs unfair to think that I create so much content just to be disrespected, and unfortunately selfish decisions like that effect everyone whoโs subs to my content. Please remember if you want to share my stuff, just ask. Iโll give you specific things to share. But just taking it will lead to changes that I feel like I have to make. Iโll be updating the details later this week with price changes. I promise not to price gouge, but in my effort to provide equitable pricing, a firm boundary that Iโve always had in place has been crossed and I need to make some adjustments.
