Added 2023-02-14 07:00:59 +0000 UTCToday was my birthday and what a magnificent day it was! Despite my hangover from last night's SuperBowl party, today was the perfect, relaxing birthday. I spent the first half of the day cleaning up my huge mess from the evening before.. 😅 but my evening was spent with the people I hold dearest to my heart, my Camily. And they, the lovely Lions, made it one of the best birthdays I've had in a very long time. As some of you may know, my relationship with my (F)amily is... not so good. LOL No not because of cam things, more, they are very narcissistic people who just hurt each other.. all the time.. Normally I spend my birthdays with them, which has proven to make my birthday very uncomfortable, to say the least. But this year was lovely. My feelings were slightly hurt when no one in my family reached out to me, besides Good Ole Grandpa. (TREASURE HIM AT ALL COSTS) BUT BUT BUTTTTT It felt good to have some relief from their my grandmothers passive aggressive remarks and hurtful sentiments. It was nice not to have to pretend to smile while my older male cousins were aggressive and just plain mean. It felt so fucking good to be at home, hanging out with Lionel and the lively men who have become my Camily; and enjoying REALLY enjoying my day with them. We will have bigger and better birthday celebrations on Saturday when we are less exhausted from the previous evening's festivities.
