My families baby duck that we’ve been taking care of the last 2 weeks passed away this morning right in front of my daughter and I in a pretty traumatic way and I’ve been crying for most of the day. I was also up most of the night taking care of him because he refused to go to sleep and he would get quite noisy when he wanted attention. So I am also incredibly sleep deprived at this point. My daughter didn’t go to her dads because she was so upset so I didn’t go to the hotel as planned or even have the day to myself. I’m sorry 😞 He was so noisy and not easy to take care of but he was such a sweet snuggly baby and I felt so helpless not being able to help him.
