We buried Clint yesterday in my parent’s back yard, and as emotionally difficult as that was, the truth is, walking away when we were done took every ounce of strength I had. That was the hard part.
It does give me comfort knowing that I can visit him anytime I want, because I miss my Clint, my brother, my son, my best friend, so goddamn much.
Lastly, I was incredibly hesitant to post what I did, and even though I hoped that y’all would understand and resonate with my words, in the back of my mind I had doubts if it was even appropriate to talk about something so serious here.
I’m glad that I was wrong. Again, thank you all so much, and I know that if he knew about all of this, Clint would sniff the air a couple of times before hissing and curling up into a ball - his way of saying thanks.
