I just found out the person I thought was my closest friend in the world., who I told my dreams to and shared my life with, was catfishing me for more than three years. I was there for them emotionally, mentally, and financially. I shed tears for them. Worried about them. Supported them through their darkest times. And sent them more than $3000 over the years. I’m devastated and feel sick to my stomach. I could call them out on all platforms…but I won’t. That will just make it harder for me. I guess I’m too trusting. I never even dreamed this person could be a piece of garbage and manipulate a single mom. But I guess, I was an easy target. I’ll try and be back later. Please, understand. 💔
