Added 2023-09-06 20:08:51 +0000 UTCToday I learned that I have 2 other plants in the house that are toxic to dogs and cats. 1 I already know is the aloe and the other a snake plant. I forgot the name of the other one. Most my plants are succulents and cactuses and are nontoxic. I’ve researched without plant apps since my cat passed away (I still feel so horrible) due to a poisonous plant but honestly apps tell you the name and everything else! I’ve felt extreme grief, guilt, and shame since. It really saddens me because the snake plants are upstairs and my mom named them after my grandmas. I think I will put the toxic ones outside except for the aloe. And keep the aloe that’s on the window sill above the sink (my dogs can’t reach it and I only keep it for summer purposes). This app is like $30 a month and I’d appreciate any tips towards it so I can continue to have a safe home for my dogs with plants.
