Added 2022-10-04 18:46:04 +0000 UTC📚 tuesday = book review day 📚 this book is all the hype right now on tiktok (i don’t have a tiktok but that’s what the sign at the bookstore told me lol) i’m glad i read this because it reminded me of the person i don’t want to be. i definitely have gone through intense depressive episodes like this and been extremely self destructive. reading this helped me realize how far i’ve come and how cringe and melodramatic i was haha. i don’t mean to sound hateful towards the main character or author i genuinely really enjoyed reading this and i’m glad it didn’t send me into a “flea bag era” as it seems to be doing for others. however the ending brought the book from an 8 or 9 down to a 6 or 7. it was so predictable and way too easy and honestly maybe even a little trashy or something. i don’t even have the right word for it but that’s why i’m a reader not a writer lol. 7/10
