I want to run something by y’all if you have a sec. I think it’ll be an interesting read if you like hearing about creator perspective. So if you’re not aware already, the primary difference in user interface here on OF on the creator end is the options that you’re given for monitzation. Sub accounts charge a monthly reoccurring fee upfront and can also send PPV stuff in DMs. Alternatively, free accounts don’t get anything upfront like sub accts do, but you get the option of posting PPV content on your actual feed (sub accounts don’t have this option). The benefit of posting something on the feed is that I can link to it months later, whereas with a DM set, you have to be following me at the time I hit the send button to get it. Feed posts stay up forever unless I take them down so it doesn’t matter when you start following me, you can scroll and find it. This is why a lot of free creators prefer to post things for sale on their feed rather than using messages. Don’t get me wrong, there’s lots of good reasons to use the messages from time to time, but in general feed posts are (in my humble (and correct) option 😂) the biggest strength of having a free account. Now, with that context out of the way, here’s the main reason I bring this up some of my favorite sets that I’ve ever shot and sold for one reason or another ended up in the DM‘s instead of on the feed. This pic attached is an example of one that I sold in the DM‘s last summer that I adore. More than half of you have never even been given access to the set and lots like it. Would there be any interest in me re-posting old message sets on the main feed from time to time? It definitely wouldn’t replace the creation of new content or anything like that, I’m just curious about if there’s any interest in me doing that. Let me know
