the podcasts this week are three of my all time favs, topics sorta all over the place. I really recommend the code switch episode to understand the history of anti-asian racism in the US, also includes some discussions of sex work and it's connection to asian diasporic communities which was important to learn about. I really recommend all my fans go listen to it. The fandom-ology episode was so interesting it was about the sociology of fandoms and how they function to create communities as well as the culture around fandom, really cool to hear about that stuff from like an academic perspective. Also everyone should also listen to How to Save A Planet, its about climate solutions and its really practical and good and gives concrete solutions to work towards on climate justice.
