I’m here to give you a little run down on how I create the magic that is posted here behind me in this photo. 🥰 I’m a firm believer in non-waste, recycling, and reusing. I find a lot of my canvases from thrift stores that have been previously used but, need a fresh new start! 🙏🏻 Once I find a set of canvases that I’m drawn to I bring them home where the magic begins! 🪄 I place push pins into the back of each corner of the canvases which help elevate them, so once I pour the paint over the canvas it will prevent the piece from sticking to the plastic on my table! You can find a lot of acrylic paint that is labeled “ready to pour” which means the mixing medium has already been added to the paints! The mixing medium allows the pain to smoothly spread over the canvases, without having to pick up each piece & move them too often. 🥰💞 depending on your skill level, mediums & paints are sold separately as well! Once I decide on which colors I want to use, I pour each layer of color into a large cup layering every color over the top of one another until my cup is almost full!
