Thank you for being on this constant journey of life & expression with me. ππ»β¨ My mat is my sanctuary & my breathe is what constantly grounds me. π§πΌββοΈ ποΈ Letβs take a moment in this stillness together to unwind & breathe deep. πβ¨ Step 1: Find a quiet and comfortable space πΏ Choose a location where you can relax and not be easily disturbed. It could be a quiet room in your home or a peaceful outdoor setting.πΌβ¨ Step 2: Get into a comfortable position π§πΌββοΈπ§π»ββοΈ Sit in a comfortable position, either on a cushion on the floor or on a chair with your feet flat on the ground. Make sure your back is straight but not rigid, and your shoulders are relaxed. π Step 3: Focus on your breath β¨ Close your eyes and begin to pay attention to your breath. Take a few deep breaths to relax your body. Notice the sensation of the breath as you inhale and exhale. Focus all of your attention on the breath, allowing any other thoughts or distractions to gently fade away. πππ Step 4: Observe your thoughts π As you continue to focus on your breath, thoughts may arise. Instead of getting caught up in them, simply observe them without judgment and let them go. Imagine your thoughts as clouds passing by in the sky, and allow them to drift away. π Step 5: Cultivate mindfulness ποΈ Expand your awareness beyond your breath and observe your body, sensations, and emotions without getting attached to them. Be fully present in the moment, accepting whatever arises without judgment or resistance. ππ» Step 6: Use a mantra or visual aid (optional) βοΈ If you find it helpful, you can introduce a mantra or a visual aid to help anchor your focus. A mantra is a repeated word or phrase, such as "peace" or "calm." Alternatively, you can visualize a peaceful scene or object in your mind. βπ» Step 7: Set a timer (optional) β° If you prefer to have a specific time limit for your meditation session, set a timer for the desired duration. This can help you stay focused and avoid checking the clock. π°οΈ Step 8: End the meditation gradually βοΈ When you are ready to finish your meditation, slowly bring your awareness back to your surroundings. Gently open your eyes and take a moment to ground yourself before standing up. ποΈ Step 9: Practice regularly ππ» To experience the benefits of meditation, it is important to practice regularly. Start with a few minutes each day and gradually increase the duration as you become more comfortable. Consistency is key in developing a meditation practice. β¨ Remember, meditation is a personal journey, and there is no right or wrong way to do it. Allow yourself to be patient and gentle with yourself as you explore this practice. ππ»π Join me for more meditation & yoga tips. πΏ Enjoy the beauty of life & slowing down! Namaste everyone!! ποΈ
